For us, both of the Koh Tachai Pinnacle dives we managed to descent directly from surface, still manageable, not required for negative entry. The visibility of water was getting lower and there were surge along the way. This dive leads by Pablo. I was getting very irritating and uncomfortable as the water is keep seaping thru the mask, my air getting exhausted faster with mask clearing regularly while fighting the surge all the way. The situation is getting worse when Pablo seems like a bit hesitate of the route, changing direction without planning, without considering the big group of members, which caused the cramped to each other. The worst part was he had not considered the dive profile especially when Jeffrey alarmed for 50 bar the minutes of 30 (myself also at 80 bar). Pablo reversed the direction, finning straight up along the wall from 18m to 10m which make us a "surprise" move. It's a also a bit chaos during safety stop as Jeffrey and Sam not able to maintain the neutral bouyancy which pulling others in the group.

We were welcome with Giant Grouper station at the slanting rock. This dive was the most lucky dive of the trip as most of the big boys were turned up in school such as Jack Fish, Batfish, Barracudas, Giant Morray Eel. It was just like the fish market, big fishes were chasing of small fishes.

While we were finning thru the opening of a huge rock at the bottom, we encountered cold and warm water mixture and where the current (green monster) getting stronger and stronger. I was last to enter before Pablo, ready to push through the current. Meeting Jeffrey and YK in front of me struggling fighting the current. YK clamped, lost in sight while Jeffrey show signal he couldn't move at all. I didn't realise his fin was dropped. Elieen came after him and found his fin. I was managed to push thru but used up at 80 bar. YK ended his dive earlier with Pablo due to leg cramp as well as equalising issue. Myself felt head ache after the dive due to hectic and could be too much drinks a night before.

Nice trip, but currents, wrong time(full moon +-). Nice boat, crew,OK food. Very unlucky with the guide....swam directly against strong currents, my wife had a real bad experience because of CO-buildup... One good guide named Joe onboard.. Never experienced such a unprofessional guide on eny dive before or after(except the DM who dumped all air to get my wife down instead of enough weights--punctured the eardrum..) But , that has nothing to do with the boat & crew....maybe they could have done a better job looking after divers on the night dives...we got left behind.....& our guide shoved my buddy away from the ladder on one dive... They always have different guides depending on seasons!
