The Doughnut

3100/2300 Still having leaky mask problem. Switched twice. Saw an old, deserted lobster trap. Pulled lobster carcass from crevice. Small, ornate sea turtle "Squirt." Small current stirring up sand, so visibility not the greatest. Sarah was snorkeling and took pics of me and the lobster skeleton.

3200/2200 Panicky at time of entry. Problems with mask leaking throughout dive. Dive master Pete didn't go in with us. Relatives snorkeled or did snuba while we did scuba.

3100/2400 Fed squid to and pet stingrays.

Molasses Reef

Very poor visibility due to Irma. Tons of broken coral on the ocean floor, plants all torn up and broken. Everything was brown/yellow. Lots of jacks. Several overhangs and a swim they. Saw a 4-5 foot reef shark with hook/line in mouth. Took pics then saw it again and videoed it. Lots of metal “parts,” gears, etc on ocean floor.
